Unstoppable Love

Unstoppable love, Pastor Moonsoo Son, Sunday, March 17, 2024

Text:

Those whom God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called: those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him also give us all things? Who can bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies; who will condemn? It is Christ Jesus who died, rather than who was raised again, who is at the right hand of God and who intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, For your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:29- 39)

Writes the words in your heart

God accomplished eternal redemption once and for all through the death of Jesus (Hebrews 10:14). Now, when I believe that Jesus died for my sins, atonement occurs, and when I believe in the resurrection, I am born again and become righteous (Romans 4:25). Then the Holy Spirit comes and writes the law of God in your heart, and writes it in your mind, and writes it in your heart (Romans 4:25, Romans 10:16)

Jesus was delivered over for our trespasses and was raised again for our justification (Romans 4:25).

And this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they will be my people (Hebrews 8:10)

Every priest stands every day ministering and offering the same sacrifices often, but these sacrifices do not always take away sins. But Christ offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, and sat down at the right hand of God, waiting until afterward to make his enemies his footstool. I am he, who by one sacrifice has perfected forever those who are sanctified. And the Holy Spirit testifies to us, This is the covenant I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and on their minds I will write them; I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more. Since these have been forgiven, there is no longer any need to offer a sacrifice for sin (Hebrews 10:11-18).

The Son of God who can overcome sin

In the New Testament era, God’s law, or law, was written directly on stone tablets and given, but the covenant was broken. However, in the New Testament era, it can no longer be broken because it was written on the tablets of the fleshly heart. Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39). Because the Holy Spirit wrote it on the tablet of my heart, I gained the power to overcome sin and became a person who fulfills God’s will by following the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He became the son of God who can walk the path to eternal life (Romans 8:14). Hallelujah!

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are sons of God (Romans 8:14)

While concluding

It makes me reflect when I see that true believers have no choice but to live as holy people that the world cannot handle. Am I really a man of God who lives a holy life? Am I real? There is nothing but prayer and words. This is because prayers and words can become holy and receive guidance from the Holy Spirit. Let’s focus more on prayer and read the Word every day and give everything to the Holy Spirit!
